Hi - this is a request for technical support - I have successfully recorded videos on my iPhone a while ago but when I did one recently the microphone volume was very low. It works fine on memo and other programmes so I know it is connected and working fine but it does not work on the photo video recording. It may be something to do with the buttons on the side - I try to use them to adjust volume but they just switch the video off and on once I am recording. Any suggestions? Obviously a setting somewhere I need to change but I can't see where. with love Carmel

I know you said but I can't find the point in the video - how do we transition where we have cut a section out where the person is speaking - I've used cross dissolve - is that correct? It looks a little weird where their head goes fuzzy for a bit so I thought I'd better check. I've used fade to white on the questions. Should we use fade to white in the cut sections too? Thanks!

https://youtu.be/Ic86OFnaJ9w Hi Everyone, I thought I was just uploading the Cult Question but we seem to have the whole 19 minute video here - it uploaded to You Tube pretty quickly - thanks Jonathan for the heads up on exporting low res but how do we select a specific small section for uploading? The Cult Question is a goodie - it's at 17m 50s with love Carmel PS I've just re-listened to the editing video and realise I forgot to take out the Ken Burns Effect or lengthen the question clip time - it will be in Draft 2.

Hi, I've successfully recorded an Interview with Nick Bason on my iPhone 7 and have imported it to iMovie on my Mac Book Pro and been having a go at editing but... the volume is very low and I can't hear myself speaking to know where to edit my voice out of the clips. The clips play fine on my iPhone so I'm wondering how I can increase volume or check what the issue is, please? I can hear it OK on wireless headphones, interestingly, so it may be because I had the iPhone plugged in on USB at the same time. I imported directly using USB and using the iMovie import facility which shows my iPhone videos so I could choose which clips to select. with love Carmel

Please may I have a reminder from someone - do I just use my normal photo facility and switch to VIDEO or is it better quality if we use a Film Camera App - if so which is recommended? My phone is currently set at 1080p at 30fps. According to my notes you said that 1 minute at 30 fps will be 60 MB thanks, with love, Carmel
